Call for Board Members
BCEA is currently accepting nomination applications for a position on the Board of Directors for a two-year term. Now is the time to take charge and raise your game! Supporting BCEA programming and serving on the board provides incredible opportunities to expand your network, gain new skills, and enhance your career. Scholarship Applications – Due June 30
Do you know a student who could use help with their finances for post-secondary? Let them know that BCEA's scholarship and bursary applications are due by June 30 to be considered for this year's awards. Betty Lou Education Relief Fund applications aren't due until Oct. 31. All children and grandchildren of BCEA Members, as well as members themselves, are eligible to apply. Find out more and download the application at the link below.

Join the Women's Network at their next Wine Wednesday meetup, this time in Walnut Grove on Wednesday, June 12 at 5:00 p.m. The theme this month is New Zealand, so bring a wine from New Zealand and an appetizer to pair it with. As always, non-alcoholic drinks are also welcome!

BCEA's golf tournaments are back this summer! This year there will be a $1000 reverse draw at the Kelowna tournament, and a chance to win a $1500 travel voucher at the Morgan Creek tournament! The BC Electrical Association, along with the Island committee, will hold a North Island golf tournament on Tuesday, Sept. 10. Tee times start at 11:00 a.m. and continue until 1:30 p.m. Only 60 golfers can take part in this tournament. Following your round, you will have the opportunity to network with your peers at the awards dinner. Golf fees are $250 for members and $350 for non-members and include a golf cart and dinner. Basic Electricity Course – Online
Registration for our online Basic Electricity Course is now live. This course is a great primer for anyone new to the industry or who wants a refresher on the more basic aspects of the supply chain industry. The cost is $299+GST for members and $399+GST for non-members. Upon registration, you can complete the course at your own pace.
