Volunteer Highlight - Island Region

We want to spotlight two of our incredible volunteers from the Island region who have helped us run many successful events. Let's hear from them on why they choose to volunteer with BCEA:

Breanna Petruik - Mac's II Agencies

"I am passionate about advancing the industry, helping others, and sharing my 23 years of experience where I can. Volunteering with the BCEA enables us industry members to connect at events, support professional development, and network where we wouldn’t normally have the opportunity. And, of course, have some fun!"

 Jess Babcock - Wesco

"The BCEA is an incredible organization that truly celebrates diversity and fosters a sense of community. Through their events, I’ve had the opportunity to network with great people from various backgrounds and industries, creating lasting connections and friendships. The supportive and inclusive environment, along with opportunities to learn more about electrical, makes BCEA a fantastic platform for both personal and professional development and collaboration.”

Lean-In Circles - Interest Survey
Last year the BCEA Women's Network held Lean-In Peer Mentoring Circles between September 2023 and April 2024. Outcome from the THRIVE recap shows that the community would like to continue these mentoring circles. If you are interested in joining a circle, please take a moment to fill out a quick survey to determine which topics to run starting in September.
