Volunteer Highlight - Mainland Region

We want to spotlight three of our incredible volunteers from the Lower Mainland region who have helped us run many successful events. Let's hear from them on why they choose to volunteer with BCEA:

Diana Nguyen - EB Horsman & Son

"I volunteer with BCEA to meet and get to know others within the electrical industry; for a chance to learn from the industry members’ plethora of knowledge and experience, specifically the amazing women who’ve worked hard to get us to where we are today. All this with the hope that I’ll also someday be able to make waves in the industry and help pave the path for those who follow."

Dominika Pilat - EB Horsman & Son

"Volunteering at BCEA has been a fantastic opportunity for me to network and build relationships, and gain a better understanding of the industry for the last 8 years. It has been a rewarding way to grow both personally and professionally.”

Brendon Brown - Code Electric

"Volunteering for the BCEA has allowed me to live my personal value of connection by meeting people in my industry beyond the scope I’d normally work with on a regular basis. It has been a pleasure to see my peers’ lives and careers change and grow over the years as we’ve connected at events.”

Lean-In Circles - Interest Survey
Last year the BCEA Women's Network held Lean-In Peer Mentoring Circles between September 2023 and April 2024. Outcome from the THRIVE recap shows that the community would like to continue these mentoring circles. If you are interested in joining a circle, please take a moment to fill out a quick survey to determine which topics to run starting in September.
