OmniCable Promotes Chris Kennedy to Vice President, Procurement and Category Management
Omni Cable LLC (OmniCable), an industry-leading redistributor selling wire, cable, fiber, and other communications and electrical products exclusively to distributors, is pleased to announce the promotion of Chris Kennedy to Vice President, Procurement and Category Management. In this new role, Kennedy will lead the development of a robust and collaborative strategy for OmniCable’s purchasing, supply chain, and category management functions. “Throughout his career at OmniCable, Chris has consistently demonstrated his ability to develop strong teams and cultivate talent while upholding our core values,” said Christopher Breslin, OmniCable’s President and CEO. “Moving forward, Chris will drive consistency and excellence across all product categories, strengthening our supplier relationships and ensuring we have the right product in the right place at the right time for our customers.” Kennedy, a valued leader with over 14 years of experience at OmniCable, most recently served as Vice President, Sales Operations, where he oversaw our corporate, project, and international sales teams. Lower Mainland Trade Show – October 22
Register today to attend BCEA's fall trade show. You won't want to miss this great event! The show will take place at the Show Theatre at Great Canadian Casino Vancouver on Tuesday, October 22 from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. There will be an educational seminar with Joel Feenstra at 11:00 a.m. on the topic of the changes and updates to the 2024 Electrical code from CSA. Annual Holiday Awards & Luncheon - November 29th
Registration is now live for our annual holiday awards and luncheon on Friday, November 29th at 11am at the Delta Hotel, Burnaby. Join your colleagues as we celebrate the holiday season, our BCEA award winners, and induct our new alumni at this event. Tickets are $105/ea for members and $150/ea for non-members. You can also purchase a table of 8 seats for $800.

Basic Electricity Course – Online
Registration for our online Basic Electricity Course is now live. This course is a great primer for anyone new to the industry or who wants a refresher on the more basic aspects of the supply chain industry. The cost is $299 GST for members and $399 GST for non-members. Upon registration, you can complete the course at your own pace.
