BCEA Awards - Deadline for Nominations is November 8th

Nominate a fellow employee or member company for one of our annual awards! Deadline for nominations/applications is November 8th. Download the applications at the links below and send completed forms to bcea@bcea.bc.ca.


Project ExcellenceThe purpose of this award is to recognize projects that have demonstrated design and/or construction excellence, energy efficient buildings, or new uses of technology. It is not intended that the project size (financial or dimensional) be a significant criteria for selection of the award winner. 


Outstanding Individual Award - The purpose of this award is to recognize an individual that has shown leadership and noteworthy achievement in their community and have demonstrated professional contributions to the electrical industry. The individuals are not required to be a member of the BCEA but their accomplishments must be recognized in the electrical trade
in British Columbia.  


Community Contribution - The purpose of this award is to recognize a company or individual who has given back to the community, whether financially or with time volunteered.   


Betty Lou Pacey Education Relief Award - To win this award, individuals must have worked in our industry for a minimum of 3 years, have made an impact within their organization, and have volunteered time to the association or the industry. The award can be used towards upcoming education costs or student loans that have yet to be paid off.

Trivia Night - November 21st
Join us on November 21st at 5pm when the AMP network will be putting on a holiday themed trivia night at the Barley Merchant in Langley! All teams will be assigned randomly the night of, so you will have a chance to meet new members. First place team will win a prize, and there is a door prize up for grabs for all attendees!

There is no cost to attend but we ask that you register at the link below so we know how many people will be coming.
Annual Holiday Awards & Luncheon - November 29th
Registration is now live for our annual holiday awards and luncheon on Friday, November 29th at 11am at the Delta Hotel, Burnaby. Join your colleagues as we celebrate the holiday season, our BCEA award winners, and induct our new alumni at this event. 

Our keynote speaker this year is Natacha Dupuis, a 5-time gold medalist from the Invictus Games. Thank you to Code Electric for being our speaker sponsor!

Tickets are $105/ea for members and $150/ea for non-members. You can also purchase a table of 8 seats for $800.
Wine Wednesday - December 11th
The final Wine Wednesday of this year will be held at One Sixty Wine Bar & Cafe in Port Moody on Wednesday December 11th. Join the Women's and AMP networks as they celebrate another great year of events and networking!

Registration for our online Basic Electricity Course is now live. This course is a great primer for anyone new to the industry or who wants a refresher on the more basic aspects of the supply chain industry. The cost is $299 GST for members and $399 GST for non-members. Upon registration, you can complete the course at your own pace.
