BA partners with SALUTE, Inc. in Home Remodel for Veteran

The Builders Association has recently partnered with SALUTE, Inc., an organization created in 2003 to assist veterans and their families with financial, physical and emotional needs.  Executive Director Dan McLaughlin commented, "As an organization representing the Chicago area construction industry, it’s a natural for the Builders Association to help our veterans when the need involves reconstructing a home or building ramps to make the lives of our veterans easier." 

 

We are still seeking donations of the following items from our members to help SALUTE's current effort to widen the doorways and remodel the kitchen of a home in which a quadriplegic veteran resides.  His mother and father are his sole caretakers, and are not even able to have their son join them at the kitchen table for dinner.
