Construction Industry to Host Governors Night on September 18th

An important election is right around the corner, with the Governor’s race being the most profile. The construction industry has joined forces to bring this race to the forefront. Builders Association and the Illinois Mechanical Specialty Contractors Association (IMSCA) are hosting a Governors night on September 18th to hear the candidates’ positions in person. Co-hosting this event are Illinois Contractors Industry Committee (ICIC) and Women Construction Owners and Executives (WCOE). We have invited Democratic Governor Pat Quinn and Republican Candidate Bruce Rauner to the Hyatt Lodge Campus in Oak Brook that evening. Cocktails and appetizers will begin at 5:00 pm at Hamburger University on the property. There is no cost to attend, yet we emphasize that there IS a cost in not attending, as this gives our industry a chance to dialogue with the next Governor of Illinois.  We hope you can join us for this important Illinois Construction Industry Event...please email skelly@bldrs.org to RSVP.
