Association Members Listed in Crain's Fastest Growing Companies List

Two BA members were included in last month's Crain's listing of the top fifty fastest growing companies:

Textura, which provides business software for the commercial construction industry, was ranked #5.  With 2014 revenue of $63 million, Textura realized a five-year growth rate of 1,887%.

Madison Construction, a general contracting firm specializing in retail, offices, apartments, student housing and public projects, came in at #19.  Madison's 2014 revenue figure of $97.4 million capped a five-year growth rate of 630%.

To be eligible for inclusion in this list companies must be headquartered in the six-county area of Cook, DuPage, Kane, Lake, McHenry and Will with 2014 revenue of at least $15 million.  Potential companies had to show revenue growth from 2013-14 with no more than one year of declining revenue at any point from 2009-13.

Crain's worked with the Chicago office of another BA member, Plante Moran, to assist in verifying the financial documents.
