Honor Chicagoland's Safety All-Stars at the 2017 Spring Summit

The days are getting longer and the temperatures are rising, which means that its time for the annual Spring Summit. The 2017 Spring Summit will take place on Thursday, May 11 at 11:30 a.m. at Maggiano's Little Italy in Oak Brook. This year's event will feature important tips for risk management for contractors, honor Chicagoland's safety all-stars with our Contractor Safety Awards, and provide time for invaluable industry networking. If you haven't submitted your Safety Awards application, you can still do so by April 6.

Steve Coughran of Coltivar Group will be give a presentation titled Managing Risk through Adaptive Strategy. The construction industry is increasingly shaped by regulations, intense competition, and a growing labor deficit. In the modern economy, a company cannot sustain long-term success through a single core competency. Today’s market requires a push for organizational learning to remain relevant. Coughran's presentation will discuss the barriers to strategic success that erode company profitability and will guide attendees in creating adaptable, learning-centric strategies. Steve will also introduce methods to implement efficient organizational structures and process enhancement to mitigate risk and strengthen competitive advantage.
