Participate in the 2017 Safety Stand Down During May 8-12

Our annual Safety Stand Downs are leadership opportunities for our members to demonstrate their commitment to safety and the well-being of their workforce. This year's Safety Stand Down, occurring the week of May 8-12, will focus on struck-bys and caught-ins, the leading causes of fatalities in Region V.

Over 200 jobsites and 4,000 workers in the Chicago area participated in the Safety Stand Down in 2016, and Builders Association looks forward to continuing to support its membership with the latest strategies to prevent workplace injury. Builders Association provides all Stand Down presentation materials to participating companies free of charge and companies may Stand Down at as many jobsites as they wish.
