There's Still Time to Register for An Evening with Industry Icons

The next Evening with Industry Icons is just over two weeks away, and the CLC is looking forward to hosting another panel of esteemed construction leaders. The event will take place on Thursday, May 18th at Muvico Rosemont 18. Registration will open at 5:00 p.m., with the panel discussion starting at 5:30 in Auditorium C. A cocktail reception in Bogart's Dining Room will follow the panel, from 6:30-8:00 p.m.

The panel will feature:

• Ian Lamp, President of Lamp Incorporated. Ian has worked in the construction industry for 36 years, both in California and in Illinois. His extensive involvement with professional organizations and penchant for volunteering have helped shape his perspective on leadership in the industry.
• Mike Lombard, President and COO of The Lombard Company and LAPPCO, a family-owned and operated business founded in 1956, has 40 years of experience in the general contracting and architectural precast concrete business. Mike has offered his leadership skills to the Builders Association by serving on various committees throughout his career, most notably as Chairman of the Association in 1998.
• Jim McShane, PE is Founder and CEO of The McShane Companies, which he established in 1984. Under his leadership, The McShane Companies now has eight offices around the country. Jim has been honored with many awards, including the ULI Lifetime Achievement Award and NAIOP Award of Excellence, which recognized his exemplary leadership skills and business acumen.
• Keith Miller began his construction career as a Laborer at 18 years old. His aptitude for leadership helped him progress to Superintendent, Project Manager, and Vice President of a large Chicago construction firm. After 15 years in the industry, Keith founded his own General Contracting company, K.R. Miller Contractors, Inc., which now achieves annual sales of $50,000,000.
