Our friends over at BuiltWorlds are ramping up for their first-ever Hackathon, which will take place the weekend of December 1st through 3rd. What's a Hackathon? It's a weekend-long competition where developers, makers, and built industry experts gather to hack solutions to burning built world problems--namely, anything that affects the world we live in, including cities, buildings, and infrastructure. How will this work? We're glad you asked:
1. Teams of 3-6 hackers will form and choose a problem to solve.
2. Each team has 36 hours to churn out a prototype solution.
3. Teams will pitch their ideas to a panel of judges.
4. The winning team receives a cash prize.
