Our Construction Leadership Council (CLC) cultivates the next generation of leaders in the Chicagoland construction industry through educational, philanthropic, and networking events. Its growth is vital to the ongoing success of Chicagoland AGC, as it provides an entryway for young professionals to learn about the Association and get involved early on.
At CLC events, young professionals have the opportunity to network, exchange ideas, and engage in continuing education. Our active CLC participants add greater value to their companies and the industry as they grow through the educational and philanthropic opportunities we provide.
Whether it’s through a jobsite tour, a Q&A panel with industry leaders, or a volunteer day spent fixing up the home of someone in need, the CLC gives participants the experiences they need to develop into the leaders of tomorrow.
Looking to get a better sense of who we are? One of our steering committee members was just highlighted in AGC of America’s national CLC newsletter, and our fall jobsite tour was featured in the September issue. We are especially excited right now, as one of our steering committee co-chairs was recently appointed to the National CLC Steering Committee.
This spring on Saturday, April 28, we are partnering with Rebuilding Together Metro Chicago for our philanthropic event. Our CLC team will work in partnership with the community to repair a home of a local resident so that she may continue to live in warmth, safety, and independence.
We are reaching out to our members to connect us with their future leaders so that we can bring them into the fold and include them on future communications.
Have someone in mind? Please email me at hkorabik@chicagolandagc.org with their name, title, and email address. We look forward to hearing new voices and growing our CLC with your recommendations!
