Sandy Hahn Bids a Pinnacle Farewell, Angelo Grima Steps into the Spotlight

Earlier this year, Sandy Hahn stepped down as Chair of the Pinnacle Awards Committee after seven years of service that saw the awards grow to become the most prestigious award in commercial real estate, capped by a ceremony that has become a marquee event industry-wide.

"Sandy was one of those special people who become what they do, because they do it so naturally
and so well," said BOMA/NY President Thomas L. Hill, RPA. "We will sorely miss her, but the only alternative was to replace a cornerstone... with a cornerstone."

By mid-summer, the Pinnacles had found their rock--former award-winner himself, Angelo Grima, who won the 2003-04 Local Member of the Year awards for both NYC and the Mid-Atlantic region. Angelo is also no stranger to the Pinnacle stage--he hosted the awards when he served as BOMA/NY President from 2008-09, and will be back to do the honors again this year on Feb. 26, 2015.

"I am most grateful Angelo agreed to step in," Hill continued, "and given his involvement at the regional and national levels, I could not think of a better person to serve BOMA/NY in this capacity. So I say.... Thank you Mr. President!"
