Oct 29 OEM Emergency Test--BOMA/NY Participation Essential

It’s vital that as many as of us as possible participate in OEM’s Oct. 29 test of its Emergency Communications system. It will take no more than a minute, and has a far-reaching impact: it will show OEM how many people can be reached, and the extent of that reach—per partner—during an emergency.
The test involves receiving an email from either OEM or BOMA/NY with the subject line Test of Emergency Communications System. All you will have to do is forward it to your emergency distribution list—tenants, building teams, employees, strategic partners/personnel and the like.
Please do whatever you must, regarding SPAM or other filtering systems, to ensure you receive these critical emails.
The point of the exercise is for OEM to evaluate how many people will be helped in an emergency, as well as the reach of the participating associations and their ability to communicate during an emergency. PLEASE take the time to do this—it will demonstrate the extent and effectiveness of BOMA/NY members as part of the OEM Emergency Communications System. And, it’s essential to our long-term partnership with OEM that we support them.
Thank you for participating in this essential Emergency Communications test. |
