Ready to Serve at a Higher Level? Take BOMA/NY Into the Future? Board Positions Now Open

This is your BOMA/NY, so help us create a future that serves you through our leadership. That starts today with helping us fill five Director vacancies and one Officer vacancy for Secretary, which are now open on our BOMA/NY Board, shown at work here during a monthly meeting.

We’re looking for candidates who hold high-level positions within their own companies and have the talent, leadership and commitment to help us shape the future. Please note: these positions must be filled by Principal members only; the Professional and Allied membership categories Board Member positions are currently filled.

The terms of these available positions are:

Officer – Secretary: Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2016

Director - One position: Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2016

Director – Four positions: Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2018

Special criteria apply as follows.

All candidates: must be a Principal member in good standing and have actively served a BOMA/NY committee as a member, vice chair or chair. If the candidate is an Associate member, they must be upgraded to a Principal member in advance of the nomination.

Officer Candidate: must have served on the Board of Directors for at least two years, or completed a three-year term of service

Board responsibilities include attending the monthly Board meetings and BOMA/NY luncheons, seminars, special events and activities. Directors are also encouraged to sponsor BOMA/NY programs and functions.
