Call for 2017 Pinnacle Awards Nominations  Can your building compete with the best? Do you want your team to be recognized for a job well done? Better yet...can you go all the way and win the new Grand Pinnacle for highest score overall? Then become a 2017 Pinnacle Award nominee and take on the challenge to be the best in New York City. The BOMA/NY Pinnacle Award is the highest honor in the field of commercial real estate ownership and management. Nominations are due on April 29 at the BOMA/NY office. The BOMA/NY Pinnacle Award is the BOMA International TOBY (The Outstanding Building of the Year) Award competition undertaken at the local, New York City level. It is real estate’s most prestigious award, and is given for building quality and management excellence in a range of categories. Which Award is Right For You? The Pinnacle is given in these building categories: Historical, Government, New Construction, Renovated Building, Corporate Facility (a tenant headquarters must occupy at least 50 percent of the building), Operating (four size categories), and Earth Award, which recognizes sustainability programs and results. Awards are also given for Manager of the Year in two experience categories (3-10 years and over 10 years of experience) and for the BOMA/NY’s Outstanding Local Member of the Year. The Grand Pinnacle, which made its debut this year, will be awarded to the building achieving the highest overall score. All building category winners are eligible except New Construction, as this category does not evaluate operations and uses a different set of judging criteria. Anyone in real estate can nominate a building or individual -- just make sure you do so by April 29.
