Three Power-Packed Days of Learning, Networking and Advocacy

Meet your fellow colleagues from across the country and get our industry’s message in front of national law makers at the combined Winter Business Meeting and National Issues Conference, now condensed into three power–packed days of learning, networking and advocacy. The event runs Jan. 30th through Feb. 1st and will be hosted by BOMA International at the Hyatt Regency Capitol Hill in Washington, DC.

Among the highlights are the Jan. 31st General Session Luncheon with Fox News contributor Tucker Carlson, who now serves as the editor-in-chief of the Daily Caller news site and is a senior fellow at the Cato Institute. Known for his wry skepticism, unique perspective and provocative interviews, Carlson has hosted a number of different nightly news programs including CNN's Crossfire, and several shows on MSNBC and PBS. Witty and entertaining, Carlson will share with you his informed take on the divided Congress, the administration of President Obama and the 2012 elections.

Following that session will be a two-hour workshop on "How to Lobby" with an update on the latest status of the issues BOMA members are facing nationwide. On Tuesday, you’ll get to put your new lobbying tactics to work during six hours on the Hill, as each delegation visits its state representatives to advocate industry solutions to its most pressing local issues.
