Don Kerin Memorialized in This Year’s BOMA/NY Scholarships

One of the hallmarks of Don Kerin’s gregarious style was his ability to establish life-long relationships with clients, friends and colleagues that thrived over 50 years of a remarkable business career, most recently at ABM Industries, Inc.

One of those relationships was with BOMA/NY. "You could always count on Don to be there for BOMA/NY," says Executive Director, Bobbi McGowan, CAE. In particular, "he was an avid supporter of our Golf Outing and by extension, its Scholarship Committee work."

Though we lost Don to cancer earlier this year, it is only fitting that this year’s scholarships will honor Don by carrying his name. The announcement was made by Golf Outing Committee Chair and Scholarship Committee Member Frank J. Keating at this past June’s Golf Outing. The 2013 BOMA/NY Donald J. Kerin Scholarships will be awarded at the BOMA/NY Annual Holiday Luncheon on Friday, December 13, 2013 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel.
