BOMA/NY Principal, Professional and Allied members will be going to the polls before Election Day as a full slate of new officers and several directors are up for election. You must return your ballots by Oct. 22.
Remember, Principal members vote for officers and directors, and Professional and Allied members vote for directors within their respective membership class. If you have not received your ballot materials, please contact the BOMA/NY office at 212-239-3662.
Looking to serve as your leadership team are these candidates:
President: Thomas L. Hill, RPA, a Senior Vice President at Boston Properties with responsibility for the firm’s New York area management portfolio .
Vice President: James R. Kleeman, RPA, Deputy Director of Redevelopment for the World Trade Center site at the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.
Treasurer: Ronald S. Zeccardi, who heads operations at The Moinian Group as its Vice President for Property Management.
Secretary: Hani J. Salama, PE, LEED AP, Senior Vice President of Property Management and Operations at Monday Properties with responsibility for the New York and Washington DC area portfolios.

Senior Vice President of Sherwood Equities, Inc., where he oversees his firm’s residential, commercial, retail and hotel portfolio.
Sandra M. Hahn of Ruben Companies
Senior Property Manager of the high-profile, internationally known, One Dag Hammarskjold Plaza, and Chair of the BOMA/NY Pinnacle Awards Committee.
Michael F. Sullivan, RPA/FMA/MSRE
Senior Vice President-Director of Operations at Edward J. Minskoff Equities, with responsibility for the firm’s office, retail and residential portfolio in New York.
Jose N. Toro, RPA, of CBRE
Serves as Property Manager of 2 Park Avenue, and was a former Pinnacle Award winner for Manager of the Year in the 3-10 years of experience category.
Professional Representative: Hershel Weiss, CPD, MLP, RAM, an engineer with Ashokan Water Services Inc., who has served on the BOMA/NY Energy & Sustainability, and Codes & Regulations/Governmental Affairs committees for many years, and represented BOMA/NY before the City Council and other official bodies on numerous occasions.

• Stephen Sachetti, Vice President of Business Development for AlliedBarton Security Services LLC, with a 20-year career in management and marketing and has served in the US Navy as a Lieutenant/Surface Warfare Officer.
• Joseph D. Fernando, President of Building Security Services, an entrepreneur who not only founded his present firm, which provides security guards and services to the building industry, but an IT support firm as well.
