BOMA International hosted its Annual Conference & Expo in Nashville, Tennessee from June 24-27, 2017. At the Board of Governors meeting on Sunday, June 25th, BOMA adopted a new Water and Waste (W2) challenge.
The W2 Water and Waste Challenge is a two-year initiative to encourage commercial real estate practitioners to benchmark water and waste consumption and associated costs, as well as to implement common practices to improve water performance and reduce waste.
Who Can Participate?
Any commercial real estate practitioner can participate who:
- Owns and/or operates one or more buildings
- Benchmarks consumption and cost data for water usage and waste tracking in ENERGY STAR® Portfolio Manager®
- Shares buildings with BOMA International via ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager
