DOB – ELEVATOR EMERGENCY OPERATION:
The Department of Buildings (DOB) is proposing to amend its rules regarding elevator emergency operation and signaling devices, elevator capacity and loading and to add a new rule regarding maintenance and testing of electric elevators. The DOB will hold a virtual public hearing on 8/30/22 at 12:00 pm.
