Merrilie Camhe’s imaginative design of a building supported by a premier name in management professionalism became the BOMA/NY logo in the mid-1990s and since that time, has become an enduring symbol of our Association. It reached a wider audience when it was translated into the crystal Pinnacle awards that epitomize the best in our business, which is only fitting, as Merrilie always focused on excellence.
She did so with elegance and style, qualities which earned her the respect of both clients and peers. Her design was clean and distinctive, earning her work an important place in the branding of many buildings.
We lost Merrilie earlier this spring to a long-term illness, which she battled with her customary grace, surrounded by her loved ones and large family.
We at BOMA/NY are grateful for the enduring contribution she made to our Association's image.
