C&W Promotes Industry Veteran and BOMA/NY VP, Lou Mantia

Congratulations are due to BOMA/NY’s Vice President and former Pinnacle Award winner for Outstanding Local Member of the Year, Louis J. Mantia, who has been named a Senior Managing Director at Cushman & Wakefield, Inc. (C&W).

More than ten of Lou’s 40 years as a real estate professional have been spent with C&W, where he serves as the Midtown City Leader and has responsibility for more than 10 million sf of commercial space, including One Madison Avenue, the Pinnacle-Award winning 575 Fifth Avenue, 9 West 57th Street and various properties at New York University. Previously, he had overseen 4 million sf of Deutsche Bank-owned office properties in the New York/New Jersey metropolitan area.

While handling this full workload, Lou has also been generous in giving his time back to our industry, and is well known to the BOMA/NY community for his work as a Board Member and Officer. Lou has also chaired the Dinner Dance committee and been a contributor to our Energy/Sustainability Committee and our Advocacy teams.

On the BOMA International level, he is a member of the Preparedness Committee, and has chaired both the Government Affairs and Energy and Environment Committees.

Lou also reaches beyond the industry to help others in need as Chairman of the Covenant House New York Lifeline Award Organization and a Board member of the charity, which he has served since 1988. He is also active in the Mercy Home for Children charity.
