It's Official! BOMA/NY Members Vote in New Administration Led by Tom Hill
The votes have been counted and the results announced at our Annual Conference and Leadership Breakfast on Oct. 23: Thomas L. Hill, RPA, Senior Vice President of Boston Properties, will assume the reins of the BOMA/NY leadership as President on Jan. 1, 2014. He and his officers serve a term of one year with the option of continuing for a second year.
The vote was unanimous and Tom will be joined by his slate of officers: Vice President: James R. Kleeman, RPA, Deputy Director of Redevelopment for the World Trade Center/Port Authority of New York and New Jersey; Treasurer: Ronald S. Zeccardi, Vice President for Property Management for The Moinian Group, and Secretary: Hani J. Salama, PE, LEED AP, Senior Vice President of Property Management and Operations at Monday Properties. New directors for our Board were elected as well, and these individuals will serve three-year terms ending Dec. 31, 2016:
Peter M. Gorry, RPA/CEM
Senior Vice President of Sherwood Equities, Inc., where he oversees his firm’s residential, commercial, retail and hotel portfolio.
Sandra M. Hahn
Senior Property Manager of the Ruben Companies' high-profile, internationally known, One Dag Hammarskjold Plaza, and Chair of the BOMA/NY Pinnacle Awards Committee.
Michael F. Sullivan, RPA/FMA/MSRE
Senior Vice President-Director of Operations at Edward J. Minskoff Equities, with responsibility for the firm’s office, retail and residential portfolio in New York.
Jose Toro, RPA
Serves as Property Manager of 2 Park Avenue for CBRE, and was a former Pinnacle Award winner for Manager of the Year in the 3-10 years of experience category.
Professional members also voted for Hershel Weiss, CPD, MLP, RAM, an engineer with Ashokan Water Services Inc. as their Board representative. The Allied members' election resulted in a win for Joseph G. Graham of Graham Restoration Company, Inc. Both will serve until Dec. 31, 2016.
