BOMA BC staff have confirmed with the Office of the Provincial Health Officer that elevators no longer have capacity restrictions under Step 3 of BC’s Restart Plan. Since July 1, physical distancing is no longer required in public indoor settings. However, masks are recommended in indoor public spaces for all people 12 and older who are not yet fully vaccinated (i.e. 14 days after a second vaccine dose). BOMA uTrack is web-based utility monitoring software and services available to BOMA BC members to gain situational awareness to achieve their strategic and tactical utility management goals.
To help young professionals along their career path, BOMA has started a book club. Four professional development books will be chosen for the year and book club members can pick and choose which ones they want to read. Informal gatherings to discuss the books will be organized. A special kick-off event is scheduled for September where attendees will meet the author of the first book. Stay tuned for more details on the first book, coming soon! For more info contact Kiomi Lutz at kiomi@boma.bc.ca.
