The Metro Vancouver Regional District is conducting research to understand the factors and trends that influence office, retail, and institutional occupancy decisions in the region. A range of different business types that occupy space are encouraged to give input on their location preferences, space requirements, challenges, opportunities, and more.
Feedback is vital and will help inform planning projects in the region, including updating local plans, work towards regional growth targets, and economic development initiatives. This short online survey is confidential, with the exception of businesses that choose to partake in an optional, compensated one-on-one interview. Events & Education
Good to Know
The Vancouver Police Department’s Trespass Prevention Program offers real estate owners a way to manage trespassing issues such as encampments, substance use, and access blockages on their properties. By enrolling, you grant VPD the authority to engage with trespassers and enforce the BC Trespass Act without needing to contact the police each time.
While the program enhances safety and reduces the burden on property owners, it does not guarantee regular patrols. Owners should still contact 9-1-1 for emergencies or 604-717-3321 for non-emergency situations.
For more information or to sign up, email trespasspreventionprogram@vpd.ca. or visit the link below.
