![]() The clean buildings tax credit is a refundable income tax credit for qualifying retrofits that improve the energy efficiency of eligible commercial and multi-unit residential buildings.
March 31, 2025 - Last day qualifying expenditures can be paid.
For a business to claim the Clean Buildings Tax Credit, all payments related to eligible retrofit work must be completed by March 31, 2025.
Budget 2024 extended the last day to submit your complete application to certify a retrofit to September 30, 2027.
