My name is Sandra Moniz, CMP, a passionate and dedicated meeting
professional, avid volunteer and community leader. Since 2002, I have
been a business development manager for Meetings + Conventions Calgary, located in the Toronto area, to better serve organizations with interest in
taking their programs and conferences to Calgary. When I first started
servicing the association sector back in 1997, I picked up the phone and
asked a peer of mine where I could meet like-minded association executives
like him, and he of course said CSAE. I have been an engaged member ever
since and consider CSAE part of my work family. At CSAE, I am chair of the Business Members Task Force, recently formed to help increase the value proposition of membership, specifically the business member category. In my
spare time I love long walks on the beach, cooking for my family and filling the important role of ubermom.
