An Update on CSAE’s In-person Event Planning

To responsibly safeguard the health and safety of members, volunteers and employees, CSAE, including regional networks, will plan to resume in-person activities when public health has announced it is safe to do so. Recognizing that public health falls under provincial jurisdiction, we continue to monitor reopening plans for each province.
Once a public health unit has announced a safe reopening for a particular area, CSAE may begin to plan in-person events in that location, building in sufficient lead time to plan and market the event, and to establish appropriate safety protocols if needed. For CSAE’s signature events that require a longer planning cycle, such as Tête-à-Tête, summits and our annual conference, committees will explore all options and risks to determine the best way forward. Please note that the 2021 conference will be held virtually (Nov. 9-11, 2021).
CSAE will continue to monitor federal, provincial and regional guidelines to ensure we make decisions based on current and credible information. In all circumstances, CSAE will consider every option to determine the best way forward.
We look forward to the day when CSAE can again welcome members to in-person programming!
