My name is Barbette Igonia, CAE. I started my career as a junior support person. I joined CSAE because it is a professional association that offers networking opportunities, educational resources and professional development for association executives in Canada. It provides a platform for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and staying updated with the latest trends and best practices in association management. As an active CSAE volunteer, I have served on the Board of Directors as a director and as chair. Because of CSAE, I grew to become a respected leader in the electrical industry. Today, I am the president and CEO and have been with the BC Electrical Association for over 30 years.
