Alison Prescott | Canadian Association of Research Administrators
CSAE was both an anchoring and directive force in my career journey. While I had worked in associations, I knew a CAE designation would grow my aptitude from contribution to leadership. Upon our military family’s return to Canada from service overseas, I initially worried a lack of network would hold back my job search. It was on the Association Jobs board, however, that I found the "unicorn" position fulfilling our unique family needs. My role as a Program Coordinator for the Canadian Association of Research Administrators (CARA) touches on so many of the competencies refined throughout obtaining my CAE designation. I am deeply thankful for the directive growth CSAE provided, and to CARA for the incredible ongoing employment opportunities. |
