CSAE News
CSAE is thrilled to be working in partnership with Wicket and Industrial to reimagine our approach to technology. Early in the new year, we’ll be rolling out a new suite of software tools to better manage, engage with, and deliver services and information to members. New tools will include Canadian-based Shopify for the bookstore, MailChimp for email marketing, Canadian-based Fusebill for membership billing, and Canadian-based Klipfolio for reporting and dashboards. This exciting development will make CSAE’s processes more efficient and, best of all, it will provide an improved member experience! Watch for news and updates to come! Read more about the partnership, and Wicket and Industrial here.
Do you know a colleague or peer in Canada’s not-for-profit community who would benefit from a CSAE membership? Take part in our Membership Referral Program and be rewarded: refer a new executive member and you’ll both receive a complimentary webinar registration and a $150 discount on your next CAE® course registration.

Bad hires are bad news for all organizations. Unfortunately, they can have a particularly negative impact on associations. According to Tracy Folkes Hanson, president and CEO of CSAE, the nature of association work means the unexpected loss of an employee is often felt far beyond the staff group, “In many cases, association employees are very connected with the association’s member base. That means a greater number of people are impacted when an employee moves on unexpectedly.” Source: Associations Now
