I am the vice president of Base Consulting & Management Inc. I joined CSAE for a variety of reasons: I wanted to ensure I had the opportunity to continually broaden my knowledge and understanding of the Canadian association sector. I felt that the opportunity to attend educational sessions, such as Summer Summit and networking breakfasts would ensure I could maintain strong relationships and industry connections. And I was seeking a point of interaction for volunteering in my sector. I enjoyed the connections with my colleagues through CSAE over the years so much that, in 2021, I applied to sit on the Trillium network council. I was excited to be accepted and thoroughly enjoy giving back to our industry. I’m also happy to volunteer my time on the PDX and Awards committees. I enjoy contributing to the discussion and helping to select educational content that our members find engaging and useful. It's also a lovely feeling to be part of recognizing the stars of our sector—whether they are emerging talent or association veterans who have given so much. Connect with me on LinkedIn.
