CCBO Letter from the President
Kurt Buttleman, CCBO President
In March, the CCBO Board had its annual board meeting at our conference site in Louisville, KY. Every one of us came away very impressed with what Louisville has to offer our members when we gather there in September. More information about the conference will be forthcoming soon, but the program is taking shape and with a fantastic program and a great hotel rate, we're hoping to set records for attendance!
At the board meeting, we devoted the majority of our time to discussing ways to attract new members and increase participation in the annual conference. During these discussions, a consistent theme emerged. That theme is that the greatest thing about CCBO is its members and the knowledge and experiences we have to share with each other. This exchange of information happens through CCBO webinars, at the annual conference, through emails and phone calls during the year, etc. I for one have found tremendous value in the network of colleagues that comprises CCBO and I hope you have as well. Over the course of the next few months, we will be rolling out some new initiatives and materials that will highlight and expand on the value of a CCBO membership. For now, as current members we ask you to take a moment or two to share your experiences with colleagues who may not yet be engaged in CCBO. Encourage them to come to the conference or to become a member.
Louisville is shaping up to be a great conference. You don't want to miss it! |
