The CCBO Board met in March at our upcoming conference site in Orlando, FL. We have committed ourselves to making CCBO the best organization for professionals working in the Business Operations of community colleges. We realize that the greatest value of CCBO is the knowledge and experiences that its members have to share. The annual international conference is a great place to share information!
Ed DesPlas and Heather Brown have been working very hard on making the 30th annual international conference the best one ever! General session speakers include Dr. Walter Bumphus, President of AACC; Anthony Connelly, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts; and Dr. Sanford Shugart, President of Valencia College. Valencia College was the recipient of the prestigious Aspen Award.
CCBO will be offering the Disney Institute "The Business Behind the Magic" Behind-the-Scenes Tour on Monday, October 1. This is an amazing opportunity to go behind-the-scenes and experience proven Disney business philosophies firsthand. Capacity for the Disney Institute program and tour is limited so register early!
