The most recent CCBO conference in Palms Springs, CA is officially over. The attendance was great, the speakers were great, the weather was great, all the programs were great, the food was great, the business partner exhibits were great... I guess that you get the point, we had a great time.
Annual conferences provide wonderful opportunities to renew friendships and explore potential new business partner relationships.
It’s also the time that volunteer leaders explore and discuss new directions for the association and set in motion the course for the next year.
The CCBO Board approved a strategic plan that includes the following:
1. Develop and provide best in class professional development programs for community college business officers.
2. Continue to enhance CCBO’s position as a premier association.
3. Build the membership.
4. Generate and manage financial resources to accomplish goals.
5. Continue to improve the CCBO Annual International Conference.
6. Maximize the use of technology and communications resources to fulfill the strategic direction of CCBO.
The CCBO Board of Directors has also voted to establish several new committees to support the growth and development of CCBO: the Annual Conference Committee, the Professional Development Committee, the Audit & Finance Committee, the Marketing Committee and the Membership Committee. Please share your interest with us for participation on these committees.
