The 2015 CCBO Leadership Academy, scheduled for September 19 and 20, 2015 in Las Vegas, NV at the New Tropicana Las Vegas, provides an opportunity for current and aspiring community college business officers to educate themselves on the various intricacies of the Chief Business Officer leadership role. The Academy’s goal is to provide participants with the knowledge of best practices of leadership within a community college.

The Academy curriculum will be a wide range of current and relevant educational sessions. The speakers will be experienced business officers, presidents and other senior knowledgeable higher education leaders. The sessions are interactive and will help Academy participants to develop the necessary leadership skills needed to succeed as a Chief Business Officer.

As more and more of the senior leadership retire from community college campuses, the CCBO Leadership Academy provides the necessary education and resources for business office staff to take on more responsibilities and learn valuable leadership skills. The program pairs each student with a chief business officer to mentor them throughout their year in the Academy. These relationships provide valuable connections and educational experiences.

The Academy's low fee includes the yearlong program and registration fees to both the 2015 annual conference in Las Vegas and the 2016 annual conference in Orlando. Registration opens February 23, 2015.
