Anthony J. Connelly, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Walt Disney Parks & Resorts, US, to be one of three general session speakers at the CCBO Annual International Conference in Orlando.
Anthony Connelly currently serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Disney’s U.S. Parks and Resorts businesses and is based in Lake Buena Vista, FL. In his role, Anthony is responsible for the financial planning and fiscal management of Walt Disney World, Disneyland, and the Disney Vacation Club. He is also responsible for the Financial Planning and Controllership functions of Walt Disney Parks & Resorts Worldwide.
In 1989, Anthony joined Disney and has advanced through various key leadership positions throughout the Walt Disney Parks & Resorts Finance organization. He was appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for the U.S. Parks in 2006. Anthony recently expanded his responsibilities to include the financial management of Disney Vacation Club. Prior to joining Disney, Anthony was an auditor for Ernst & Young in Orlando, FL.
Anthony is actively involved in the state and local community representing Walt Disney Parks & Resorts, U.S. He is currently chair of the Florida Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, and serves on the boards of University of Central Florida Foundation, Enterprise Florida, and Leadership Florida. He also served as a member of Governor Rick Scott’s Economic Development Transition Team as well as a member of Florida Chief Financial Officer Jeff Atwater’s Transition Team.
A graduate of the University of Central Florida, Anthony received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1987. He went on to earn his Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, in 2000. Anthony is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Florida.
Anthony, his wife Carol, and their three sons live in Orlando, FL.
