Dawn Vinberg is the new Executive Director of Budget/Capital at Shoreline Community College.
"Dawn has a terrific combination of experience in the community college system and private industry," President Cheryl Roberts said. "Her positive personality and attitude make her a wonderful addition to the Shoreline family."
Vinberg has been Executive Director for Financial Services & Planning at the Seattle Colleges district office for the past two years and served as Director of Business Operations at then South Seattle Community College from 2003-06.
Vinberg has held a number of business positions in the healthcare industry. She has been staff and/or consultant at Qualis Health in Seattle, Healthcare Finance and Analytics in Edmonds, Premera Blue Cross in Mountlake Terrace, Providence Health System in Anchorage and Community Health Plan in Seattle. She also worked as manager of the Russell Family Foundation in Gig Harbor and program manager of the Wadsworth Foundation in Seattle.
"I’m thrilled to be coming to Shoreline in a budget leadership role," Vinberg said. "The Shoreline community was so welcoming during my visit. It was clear there is an excitement about the future of the college, a goal of managing the college’s resources well and a clear focus on serving students."
Vinberg will participate as a member of Shoreline’s Executive Leadership Team. She is succeeding Holly Woodmansee, who left Shoreline in October for a position as Vice President for Administrative Services at Bates Technical College.
