There are so many things to look forward to this year: the 2017 CCBO Annual Conference and Leadership Academy coming up in September, the continued dedication to providing educational and professional support to community college business officers, and the naming of CCBO's new managing director, Austin Bingler!
Austin Bingler brings ten years of higher education administration and program management experience. Prior to accepting the Managing Director position for CCBO, Austin worked for 8 months as the Educational Programs Coordinator for NACAS. Austin has ample experience in higher education, specifically relating to administration, graduate medical education, and faculty development. Austin is a product of the Virginia Community College System, earning his associates degree in 2008. Austin is a proud "double duke" in which he continued his passion for education by pursuing a bachelors degree in Sociology, and ultimately, earning an MSEd in Adult Education and Human Resource Development at James Madison University.
Native to Virginia, Austin was born and raised in Charlottesville, Virginia. Austin enjoys spending time with his family and friends, his dog Maxx, and exploring the local wineries and eateries! Please join me in welcoming Austin to CCBO!
