The new system for submitting locate requests in British Columbia, Alberta and Manitoba went live on January 31. The PelicanCorp software features several changes from the previous system, and changes to how locate requests are handled were introduced as the notification centres in BC, Alberta and Manitoba aligned their business practices.
These changes include new ticket types and changes to exisiting ticket types, a new mapping system and preconfigured fields. In addition, the Dig Info AB mobile app is no longer available as of January 31.
