Call-before-you-dig hotline back online after construction crew hit underground fiber line

Several weeks ago in the Denver area, construction activity caused underground damage, according to the Colorado 811 website. The outage also happened to take down the call-before-you-dig hotline. Crews were able to repair the line by the next morning.

Virtual Public Awareness Workshop

The CCGA will be scheduling a virtual workshop in the near future with damage prevention and public awareness representatives to develop an education and awareness matrix that broadens public awareness responsibilities among all CCGA stakeholders – asset owners and ground disturbers alike.
