The CDA is seeking a new Chair and members for the Membership Committee.

Reporting to the Board of Directors and working with both internal and external stakeholders, the Membership Committee Chair oversees the Committee’s and Working Groups’ tasks, which include:

• Benefits statement for each CDA membership type (Individual, Sustaining, Corporate, Student, Life)
• Review benefits and services to members and make recommendations
• Lead communications regarding member benefits and renewal messaging and timing
• Develop strategies for attracting new members of all types
• Propose changes to the membership database to assist the CDA with tracking trends, identifying knowledge or representation gaps, and maintaining member contact information current
• Work with representative of Strategic Planning Committee regarding plan implementation
• Work with other committees of the CDA to consider the impact to members from new or changed policies, etc.

 As Committee Chair, you are supported by the committee’s Coordinator regarding meetings, project implementation and reports.
