Regulatory Corner - September 2023

The Canadian Dam Association (CDA) announced that it has released its Environmental Consequence Classification Technical Bulletin (CDA 2023). This new Technical Bulletin fills a much needed gap in direction regarding the consideration of the environmental consequences of potential dam failure and it is expected that the Technical Bulletin will be widely reviewed and considered by dam owners, consultants and the regulatory community.
