USSD presenting technical workshops

The United States Society on Dams is offering four workshops in Oakland, California, on Nov. 2-4, 2015. The technical committees preparing the workshop and the workshop topics are:
- Committee on Construction and Rehabilitation – Risk Management and Construction Cost Estimating
- Committee on Monitoring of Dams and Their Foundations – Appropriate Instrumentation for Dams: Developing and Implementing Properly Focused, Cost-Effective Monitoring Programs
- Committee on Dam Decommissioning – Dam Decommissioning: New USSD Guidelines and Applications
- Committee on Levees – Update on National Levee Safety Initiative Implementation and Overview of Levee Technical Guidelines.
