Proposed Membership Committee seeks volunteer

CDA’s Board of Directors is considering the reactivation of a committee focused on membership recruitment, retention and services. It will be considering the Terms of Reference for the committee at its next meeting.
The committee would be charged with creating a membership recruitment and retention plan, and evaluating member services to enhance the value of CDA membership. It would provide oversight and advice to CDA contract staff.
The Board is looking for one or two volunteers to serve on the committee. Volunteers should be interested in improving the experience of being a CDA member and identifying products and services of value to individuals and companies in the Canadian dam community.
No special experience in serving on a CDA committee or in membership is required. Time commitment will be about 40 hours per year, in periods of more activity and lesser activity. Meetings are by conference call, with one or possibly two in-person meetings per year.
