Members who wish to contribute to the 2018 professional development workshops that will be held prior to the conference on October 13 and 14, 2018 are encouraged to write to 2018technical@cda.ca with workshop suggestions or themes.
Possible workshop topics include:
Dam Safety Reviews:
- Public safety near dams;
- Dam break analysis and inundation mapping;
- Reliability and durability of structures;
- Risk analysis; and
- Life cycle optimization of embankment dams.
