International Short Course on Design and Assessment of Mine Waste Structures to be Held in Edmonton

The University of Alberta Geotechnical Centre is pleased to host the International Short Course on Design and Assessment of Mine Waste Structures (Tailings Dams and Rock Dumps): Design, Construction, Operation, Monitoring, Evaluation and Safety of Facilities in Edmonton, Alberta from May 3 to 8.
This comprehensive short course is comprised of five days of 40 lecture hours and three tutorials on the design, construction, operation, monitoring, evaluation and safety of mining facilities.
