Abstracts Due April 13 for CDA Poster Session

CDA encourages students and young professionals to submit abstracts by April 13 for the CDA Poster Session to be held in Quebec City during the national conference in October.
Posters may describe applied or theoretical research completed or underway concerning dams; or discuss dam engineering applications that students or young professionals have worked on.
Subjects for posters include:
- Hydrology, Hydraulics
- Design, Construction and Behavior of Dams
- Operation, Dam Safety, Emergency Preparedness
- Tailings Dams
- Repair and Rehabilitation
- Environment and Climate Change
Submission
Abstracts must be submitted online at https://www.conference-service.com/CDA-2018
General Requirements
The primary contribution must be from a student or students (the advisor may be a co-author) or a young professional.
If accepted, the student or young professional must present the poster at the conference during the Poster Session on Tuesday October 16 in the afternoon.
Students with accepted posters will have a free one-day conference registration for October 16; young professionals will have to pay their registration. (Note there is a discounted rate for young professionals.)
A young professional is defined as a recent graduate who is a junior engineer.
